Now I don't have pictures going through the process because I only realised how great this was after I made it :(
...However today I bring you the SnowfBake!
For this you will need:
- Deep pan
- Baking dish
- Sprouts
- Spinach
- Broccoli
- Cauliflower
- Petit pois (just small peas)
- Tomatoes
- Tomato puree
- Potatoes (or sweet potato)
- Milk
- Butter or oil
You can vary the amount of produce you use based on how many people you will be making it for - there are no specific measurements here!
Now for this I used frozen vegetables apart from the tomatoes because I don't have the money to buy fresh produce every week but if you do then fresh vegetables are much more nutritious!
Also I'd take into consideration that you will be using 3 hobbs at a time or that you will be cooking 3 different mixtures on the hobb at some point.
PREHEAT OVEN TO 200 CELSIUS OR 180 CELSIUS FOR A FAN OVEN.
FOR THE SAUCE -
Step 1: Blend some large tomatoes in the blender until they are smooth and pour the mixture into a deep pan.
Step 2: Add tomato puree to the mixture and stir until they are mixed together.
Step 3: Heat until it is at a hot temperature and wait for vegetables to cook.
FOR THE VEGETABLES -
Step 1: Add frozen sprouts, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower and petit pois into a deep pan and add water.
Step 2: Heat them all together so that the water starts to boil and cook them so they are however soft or solid you want them (I prefer very squishy veggies).
Step 3: Drain your vegetables and add them back into the pan.
Step 4: Add the sauce you made to your vegetables and stir together until all the vegetables have a good amount of sauce on them.
Step 5: Put this mixture into your baking dish ready for the mashed potato
FOR THE POTATO -
Step 1: Peel and chop up the potatoes and place them in a deep pan
Step 2: Add water and heat until potatoes are soft (put a fork into the potato to test this - if the potato falls of the fork then it is ready).
Step 3: Drain the water out the pan.
Step 4: Mash up the potato using a masher or a fork and then add a small amount of milk to make it a smoother texture.
Step 5: Add your butter or oil (I prefer butter) to add flavour to the mash and to make it a 'more appealing' colour.
Step 6: Put your mashed potato on top of your vegetable mixture in the baking dish to act as a topping.
Finally you must put your baking dish into the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the potato on top has gone a brownish colour and looks crispy.
Take this out the oven and wait for it to cool (make sure you wear oven gloves!).
Now serve and enjoy!

Also you don't have to follow my recipe exact you can add things and take things away to make it your own! If you try this recipe then tweet it to me on: @snowfietbh
